LONDON’S BEST POP-UP RESTAURANTS NOVEMBER 2017
THE ETHICUREAN AT THE GARDENING SOCIETY, Oxford Circus
The rooftop at John Lewis should really be part of the English Season, along with Ascot, Henley and Wimbledon. Over the past couple of years it has brought some of the country’s most interesting young chefs and streetfood joints – from Foley’s to The Dairy – to dish up plates and cocktails amid a floral, summer-house setting. For its new winter instalment, Bristol-based restaurant The Ethicurean will be popping up for the first time in London.

THE SECRET LARDER SUPPER CLUB AT MAGPIE, Mayfair

OXALIS AT SUN & 13 CANTONS, Soho
Soho’s Sun and 13 Cantons pub has had an interesting social life. It’s where Ridley Scott and Alan Parker signed film deals over a pint, and its basement is where the Chemical Brothers started their London DJ career, with the Heavenly Social club. Over the years you may have spotted Oliver Reed, Ewan McGregor or Gemma Arterton at the bar
